**This may contain spoilers** 5 Sensitive Stars
The second book to this sensitive story is amazing. It was heart warming to see both Maggie and Clay grow emotionally as individuals, especially Clay, who seeks the help he so desperately needs for his illness.”The choices we make in our life don’t have to define us. It’s what we learn from them that’s important.”
In this book we read the POV of both Maggie and Clay and this really helped me to connect emotionally with Clay and understand him as he fought to take control of his life’s battle; things we take for granted (a happy day) can be an everyday struggle for someone like Clay.
Clay and Maggie both try and move on with their lives, Maggie thinks she will never see Clay again and Clay believes Maggie would be better off if she moves on from their relationship………but will they be able to stay away from each other when a tragedy brings them together? ”I would never move on from Clay. My soul belonged with him, was so entangled in him that I was no longer a single being.” (sigh, Maggie could not move on…)”Wherever she went, whatever she did, that is where I belonged.” (.....and neither could Clay…...)”Our road hasn’t been an easy one. But good things rarely are. You taught me that the person I am is worth loving, worth fighting for. You gave me strength when I had none. You held me up when I wanted to fall. And now, I want to give you everything. I want to give you the world. Because, Maggie, you’ve given me mine. And it’s you. It will always, forever be you…..”
This quote sums up the story perfectly for me, his parents’ rejection of him, clay being lost in his illness, not feeling worthy, Clay and Maggie meeting, Clay loving Maggie, Maggie loving Clay, all the hurt, everything. A truly beautiful inspiring story ♥ ♥ ♥"For those searching for the light......Never stop"
